Where we are and how to get here:
Villierstown is a small historic and picturesque village situated on the banks of the River Blackwater, in West County Waterford. It is located 8 km from Cappoquinn and 20 km from both Dungarvan, Lismore, and Youghal, Co. Cork.
Heading north (25 mins drive) are the Knockmealdown Mountains which offer stunning views of the entire region. Heading south (20mins drive) you will find several beeches along the famous Copper Coast, while Waterford City is less than an hour away following the N25.
Reaching Blackwater Eco Tours from Dublin:
Travel time is 2hrs 30 minutes approx.
Take the M9, before taking the M25 slip road for Cork/ Waterford, followed by the N72 to reach your destination.
Reaching Blackwater Eco Tours from Cork:
Travel time is 1 hour approx.
Take the N8, which turns into the N25. Turn off at L2029, signposted Ardsallagh, before taking the R671 to Ballinacourty.
Reaching Blackwater Eco Tours from Galway:
Travel time is 2 hours 50 approx.
From Galway, take the N6, before taking the M17/18 Limerick/Sligo. Continue on N18 and follow signs for Limerick. Continue onto E20, before taking the N24 for Waterford.

Our Eco Pods are perfect for short stays and are extremely popular with families and groups of friends looking for a short activity break, away from the hustle and bustle of towns and cities.
Our eco pods can accommodate 4 adults or a family of 5, and contain a small kitchenette, a large L-shaped sofa, and a bathroom, complete with a small shower and toilet. Each pod also has its own BBQ, with a shared outdoor BBQ area, in keeping with the community vibe we set out to create!

Things to see and do in Waterford:
Co. Waterford is one of Ireland’s most popular tourist destinations, owing to its plethora of stunning beaches, magnificent scenery, outdoor activities, museums, festivals, and places to eat and drink!
Visit historic Lismore and its stunning beach, enjoy the magnificent views of the Vee Scenic Drive, Cycle the famous Waterford Greenway, and enjoy some great Museums, including the Waterford and Suir Valley Railway.
And if none of that floats your boat, how about trying a spot of axe-throwing, with local axe-throwing activity operator, Axe Junkies, and see who gets the bragging rights for the deadliest thrower in town!?
