The perfect way to enjoy a short break with friends or family!
Our eco pods
Our cozy, eco-friendly wooden eco pods can comfortably accommodate up to four adults or a family of five people. Built using solid treated timber, they are designed to be comfortable in both hot and cold conditions; at night-time, the insulation in the walls means it never feels cold, while on a hot summer’s day, a foil layer inserted beneath the roof structure, keeps it nice and cool. Perfect for kids and adults alike!
Though small in stature, our eco pods are deceptively spacious and are designed to provide you with life’s essentials during your break away. Each pod is equipped with a small kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a large L-shaped corner sofa, one double bed, and a single sofa bed. There are also plenty of duvets and blankets supplied and a table and chairs which are perfect for lunch or a board game, outside or in.
Outside, each pod has its own decking area (perfect for chilling out in the sunshine with a good book and a nice glass of wine) to the front. You’ll also have your very own barbeque, giving you complete control over when to cook, so you never have to wait for a BBQ to become free!
Testimonials
A great place to stay for family, pub next door food, staff etc. Cosy, compact but with everything you needed, shop across the road. Worthwhile if going kayaking or boating on blackwater, very reasonable prices everywhere. Definitely a big hit with the kids!
Great location, lovely accommodation. We went kayaking on the river, excellent! Also great having a pub next door (with a pool table!). This was our 3rd time here, and we'll be booking for next year too! Thanks Alan and Laura!
located in a lovely quiet rural village, but not too far from Dungarvan, Ardmore and other lovely parts of Waterford
Rural tourism at it’s best!
Excellent. Loved the pub next door and the people in the area. Very scenic and special place.
Lots of great facilities right beside your Pod!
Right next to your pod is a local cafe and bakery, where you’ll find a great selection of fresh and delicious cakes, gourmet sandwiches, and wholesome, home-cooked meals.
And although Villierstown is located in the sunny southeast of the country, if the rain does dampen your best-laid barbeque plans, An Cruiscin Lan, the village’s authentic Irish pub, has a great food menu that caters to kids and adults alike. And of course, like any good Irish pub, the music, the craic, and the random conversations with strangers make this the perfect to relax after a busy day exploring!
